TOL - Where is Everwild

Hey it's Tarrmu and welcome to Thinking Out Loud and in today's video we'll be talking about Rare's upcoming new title Everwild, which we saw back in 2019 and we've seen one or two trailers over the years since development.
It's important to also mention that in 2021 the game was also rebooted and since information surrounding the game has really gone quiet in recent years. Not going to lie, but I really do like the visual style for this one, but outside of this we really still don't know anything about it, which is insane for a game that was announced six years ago and reboot roughly three to four years ago.
I've been wanting to talk about this game for a while and I was thinking back around Gamescom last year we'd potentially hear an update, and recently we've seen hope with Rare tweeting out a happy holidays card to close out 2024, no peep at Xbox's showcase earlier in the year, it does make me wonder, where is this game? I'm wondering if we'll see it around June when Summer Game Fest and Xbox reveal games that will be releasing over the next year.
We're at a point now where Rare have been working on Sea of Thieves for years and now it has been ported to Playstation 5 and will more than likely be ported to the Switch 2 at some point. I think that 2025 is the year that we will see something about Everwild, whether it releases is another story, but I don't think that it is completely out of the realm of possibility.
Many of the games with Xbox that have been in develop for awhile now are all starting to see releases, we have Everwild and Contraband. I mean it has been a good few years, and Rare is a studio with an iconic track record, and there is of course there is the continuous support for Sea of Thieves, and there is the rumors circulating around a new Banjo game.
But at this point I'm keen to see what this new game is, and I feel like it should be time right? I'm not crazy in thinking we could see this one soon? What do you think?
